End of Year Social, Hilamar Hotel,
13th of December, 2008

Christmas 2008 SocialThe end of year social was a great success. After lunch and mulled wine we were enthralled by our guest speaker Seamus Gillespie.

The day ended with a short meditation and Reiki chair treatments.

Thank you Seamus for
your Great talk!

Seamus Gillespie waited until he was 72 years young to travel outside of Ireland.

It was an invitation to teach anger management to nuns and priests in Mongolia that finally nudged Seamus from Irish shores.

Mongolia may seem like an interesting destination for an unseasoned traveler, but then Seamus is a very interesting man.

As things unfolded, Reiki was destined to play a huge part in his Mongolian experience. An encounter with a very ill child resulted in Seamus giving a Reiki treatment.

The child responded well, people's eye brows were raised. The rest is history.

Seamus has made four trips in total to Mongolia since his initiation into travel.
The reason he goes there these days is to teach Reiki.

Doctors, nurses and teachers in Mongolia are among his Reiki graduates. Seamus' class manuals been translated into their native language.

I speak for the group gathered at the Hilamar, in saying that Seamus is the embodiment of what Reiki represents. We were honoured and privileged to hear about his wonderful experiences .We were also captivated by his slide show.

Seamus plans to make another trip to Mongolia in the near future. We wish him well in all his endeavours.
