One Day Therapeutic Hand Care Course.

As we discussed at our AGM in 2014, The Irish Red Cross facilitated a one day therapeutic hand care course on Saturday 19th July 2014 for Reiki Federation Ireland members. The cost was 55 euro (which included a hand care pack worth approx 35 euro which included hand massage and basic manicuring) which was a special discount for RFI members. The course took place in their branch in Fairview, Dublin (St. Josephs Primary School). The course ran from 9 am to 5 pm.

Attendees became therapeutic hand care providers and received a certificate. While the course was not accredited by any external body, it is an Irish Red Cross certified course.

For Professional members it can be added to your list of therapies with your malpractice insurance company.
It was also open to Associate members, Student members and Friend of Reiki members. They can then share it with family and friends.

Some members of the Irish Red Cross go to nursing homes and offer this service. Additionally, the Irish Red Cross trains staff members in Care Homes to provide this service to their clients.
