Tools to Empower your Reiki Business
A Free day hosted by Reiki Federation Ireland for our members
Held at the Sheldon Park Hotel, Sat. 11th Oct. 2008
This proved to be a very interesting and exciting day.
We had a full room, with members eager to learn new information.
Everyone had a chance to network on arrival.
We also had a meditation and Reiki chair treatments before lunch.
Laura Freeney, our guest speaker got us straight into business mode in the afternoon session.
RFI were delighted that Laura agreed to speak at this event. She has over 11 years Management and Personal Development experience in Service Delivery and Customer Care environments.
It became very apparent that if we want to succeed as Reiki practitioners, the business side of things is every bit as important as our love of energy.
Laura's presentation included the following:
- How to sell the benefits of your Reiki practice to a wide audience
How to get your message across effectively
Learn how to create and maintain rapport with prospective clients
How to create a compelling take home message for individuals or groups
This talk was followed by a presentation by our current PRO, Angela Gorman. She spoke about how to market your business successfully.
Angela is a frequent speaker at Enterprise Ireland events and was the main speaker at their recent Women Creating Successful Businesses conference.
Angela's presentation included practical tips on:
- How to write compelling adverts and flyers
The importance of your unique selling point
How to create more abundance through your existing client list
Important things to consider when getting your website built
The last speaker of the day was our current Chairperson, Maura McGinley.
Maura's interesting and refreshing interactive presentation was
